Rather than the usual syrupy Valentine’s Day note, I will reveal something about real love I have discovered. If you’re married, or thinking of getting married, don’t expect a spouse who’s afraid of sharp things and hot things to magically pick up an interest in cooking. And certainly, certainly, don’t hold a grudge against her because of of this, because you are just plain stupid if you do so.
